DIGITAL COURSE

Gouache Painting Fundamentals: Value

DIGITAL COURSE

Using gouache, an opaque water medium, we'll discover through a few exercises and demos just how to manipulate values using paint consistency and application. By painting along using only black and white, you'll start to get a handle on how the gouache works (along with all its quirks). At the completion of this course, you'll be able to complete quick value studies to improve your studio work or to venture outdoors and start your plein air journey off on the right foot.

Gouache Painting Fundamentals: COLOR

DIGITAL COURSE

Using gouache, an opaque water medium, we'll discover through a few exercises and demos just how to manipulate color and mix paint. By painting small and with a limited palette, you'll get the hang of mixing colors without ending up with a lot of mud. After this course, you'll be able to knock out quick color studies to improve your studio work or to venture outdoors and continue your plein air journey with confidence.
